(Rockville, Maryland) The Montgomery County Students Information Technology Foundation, Inc. Network Operations group has given revamped computers to homeless men at the Chase Partnership House Men's Shelter.
The gift was announced, apparently with some flair, at the Computer Lab Gifting Ceremony on November 29th at the Thomas Edison High School in Silver Spring.
According to the Director of Volunteer Services of Community Ministries, Karen Napolitano, the homeless men ...
"... will utilize these computers as an opportunity to explore job resources, computer skills, keyboarding skills, and online instruction."Hey, what a great idea! Homeless men with computers accessing the Internet couldn't possibly have a downside.
