(Richmond, Virginia) Virginia Attorney General Bob McDonnell announced today that U.S. Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents and the Virginia State Police are rounding up illegals convicted of sex crimes.
State and federal agents have arrested 36 convicted sex offenders in Virginia accused of immigration violations as part of a new effort called "Operation Cold Play."The convicted sex offenders had apparently served their sentences and were released to continue their lives as illegal aliens in the U.S.
Now, they will be deported which means employers can expect them to be gone from their jobs for a few weeks -- or maybe less, depending on the return route chosen to jump the border.
