(Lee County, Florida) A 19-year-old Estero woman, Keala Marie Kao, was found passed out in the driver's seat of her idling vehicle early Thursday morning by Lee County Sheriff's deputies.
From Naples News:
Reports show responding deputies tried to rouse her by knocking on the window, but to no avail. Since all the car doors were locked, a deputy fearing Kao needed medical attention smashed out the rear driver’s-side window, reached in to unlock the front door and shut off the engine. The deputies obliged. Kao faces charges of possession of cocaine, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a fake ID.
Able to rouse her at that point, the deputy allegedly observed a white powdery substance consistent with cocaine on the back of her neck and on a rolled-up $5 bill on her seat.
A further search of her vehicle turned up an ID not belonging to Kao, according to the report. When confronted with the fake ID, Kao allegedly became upset and said, "Just charge me and take me to jail."
Kao was booked into custody at the Lee County Jail. Left unexplained is how cocaine comes to rest on the back of someone's neck.
