(Milledgeville, Georgia) A 28-year-old marketing teacher at Baldwin High School, Alison Diane Ivey, was arrested yesterday for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old male student.

Boy, she must be embarrassed.
"I really can't go into what we have as far as evidence in this case, but we feel like we have a very strong case against her," Davis said.
Alison Ivey was booked into the Baldwin County Jail and released on $25,000 bond. She has been placed on paid leave from her teaching position.
[Update 10/16/08]
Ivey, now 29, has been indicted on five counts of sexual assault for having sexual intercourse with two male students during the 2007-2008 school year.
Ivey is accused of performing oral sex on a then 17-year-old student and having sexual intercourse with him twice, said Fred Bright, district attorney for the Ocmulgee Judicial Circuit. If convicted, Ivey faces a possible 30 years in prison for each of the five counts, Bright said.
