Persian Gulf Beauty Contest

(Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates) If one considers that all of the Persian Gulf nations are Muslim-dominated with obsessions about keeping women covered, it doesn't make too much sense for them to stage a beauty contest. That is except in the case where the beauties being judged are camels.
Camels from Bahrain, Kuwait, Oman, Qatar and Saudi Arabia will strut their stuff before a panel of expert judges who will decide which owners should be awarded prize money totalling around 9.5 million dollars.
The Mazayin Dhafra Camel Festival will be held from April 2nd to the 10th. The camels participating are required to be purebred, free from disease and unmarried.

Okay, I made the last requirement up.
