Florida Teacher Busted for Drugs

(Tampa, Florida) A 32-year-old learning-disbilities teacher at Carrollwood Elementary School, Jennifer Shepherd, was arrested last Friday for alleged drug possession.

According to the arrest report, Shepherd was spotted by police about 3:15 AM (on a school day) on the street trying to "conceal drugs behind her back."
Police found Shepherd with an unspecified amount of cocaine, half an Adderall pill, a snorting tube and a stick used for cutting or sifting. The paraphernalia tested positive for cocaine, the report shows.
Shepherd was charged with possession of cocaine, possession of a controlled substance and misdemeanor possession of drug paraphernalia. She in on paid leave from the school.

She was booked into custody at the Orient Road Jail and later released on $4,500 bail.
