Meanwhile, Mexican authorities report that seven decapitated bodies were found this week in the continuing violence between drug cartels and law enforcers. More than 4,000 drug-related murders have occurred since 2005.

Additionally, an estimated 450 police officials have been killed in Mexico since December 2006. Eleven police officers have been murdered this week alone.

I think it's head-in-the-sand naive to believe that the violence in Mexico won't spill over into the U.S. Unfortunately, it's happening and the mainstream media is avoiding the subject.
