Woman Gets 60 Days for Sex with Boys

(Canton, New York) A 19-year-old Hammond, NY, woman, Cora G. Putney, was sentenced this week for engaging in sexual activity with three boys, ages 11, under-13 and 15.

Putney gets 60 days in the St. Lawrence County Jail plus registration as a sex offender. She also must serve 10 years of probation.

Putney had pleaded guilty in May to two counts of second-degree criminal sexual act and one count of sexual misconduct.

Putney was accused of having oral sex with an 11-year-old boy last June, along with having oral sex with a boy under age 13 and a 15-year-old boy last July.

Putney apologized during her sentencing.
