Boy Ordered to Pay Child Support to His Molester

(Lancaster, Ohio) A 15-year-old boy was molested by a 19-year-old Lancaster woman, Jane C. Crane, who became pregnant. A baby was born in April 2008.

Crane has been indicted on two counts of felony unlawful sexual conduct with a minor. Now 21, Crane was booked and released on a $5,000 recognizance bond. She has a pretrial conference scheduled for August 21.

The victim, now 16, and his family are in a custody battle for the baby. While the dispute is being wrangled by lawyers and while Crane awaits resolution of her criminal charges, the boy has been ordered to pay Jane Crane $50 per month in child support since the baby is living with her.
