(Boise, Idaho) Due to complaints from unidentified fans, the University of Idaho cheerleaders are being forced to change their uniforms. Apparently, the uniforms, consisting of halter tops and short black shorts, were considered too skimpy.
New uniforms with a less-revealing halter tops and skirts six inches longer have been ordered.
Despite reported complaints, however, the adviser to the Spirit Squad, Shelly Robson, hinted that some of the girls might be on the beefier side and actually needed more material.
Personally, I'd recommend that the cheerleaders be decked out in the same uniforms worn by the women's Olympic beach volleyball teams. Over a billion people watched the beach volleyball competition and, as I recall, not one official complaint made the news.
