Cheerleading Boss Accused of Sex with Boy

(Navarre, Florida) A 38-year-old cheerleading official for the Navarre Youth Sports Association, Sheila Broome Langman, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy. On Monday, Langman was charged with lewd and lascivious battery.

Investigators say the case opened Friday after the state Department of Children and Families received a complaint alleging "inappropriate activity between the child and the woman."

After interviews with Langman and the boy, lawmen say they discovered the pair had been "sexually involved" multiple times between July and September.

Langman was booked into custody at the Santa Rosa County Jail with bond set at $10,000.
