At the opening of the Capitol Visitors Center this morning, Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid remarked that he could smell the tourists visiting the Capitol during the summer. He also said, "We have many bathrooms here, as you can see. Souvenirs are available."I think it's curious that Reid can only smell the tourists. Based upon legislation coming out of Congress, one could easily contend that the stench in Washington has many contributors.
Why any group would have Reid as its leader is a mystery to me.
