Illegal Jailed for DUI Manslaughter

(Tampa, Florida) An 18-year-old illegal alien, Alex Perez-Escalante, was arrested yesterday morning for allegedly driving drunk, killing a pedestrian and then driving away.

Perez-Escalante has been charged with DUI manslaughter, leaving the scene of a crash involving a death and having no valid driver's license.

Apparently Perez-Escalante got into a bar fight and was chased away. Allegedly drunk, he got into his vehicle and ran over the pedestrian as he was leaving the parking lot. The pedestrian died at the scene.

He was booked into custody at the Orient Road Jail without bail.
