Naked Nurses Seek Men

(Tainan, Taiwan) Earlier this month, unattached nurses at the Dr. Enherya Clinic, specializing in cosmetic surgery, advertised for boyfriends by posing nude on a billboard, on posters and on the Internet.

The clinic also put up posters of the naked young nurses, distributed the pictures to the media and used them on the Dr. Enherya website.

Accompanying the pictures was the provocative tagline, "I decide my curves, you can be the focus too."

As a consequence of nude nurses advertising for marriage partners, the National Nurses Association and the Tainan City Nurses Union have expressed outrage.
"The image of nurses have (sic) been ruined by the advertisements."
At the request of the Tainan City Department of Health, a police investigation was launched to determine if fraud or if public morals violations were committed. Meanwhile the Department of Health took action to order the Dr. Enherya Clinic to stop operations and clean up its illegal advertising.
Article 87 of the Law on Medical Services stipulates: "Whenever the contents of the advertisement implies or hints at persons in the medical care field, it is considered to be an advertisement for medical services." [...]

According to the Tainan Department of Health, the Law supposedly bans improper methods of soliciting patients. The four females in the clinic's billboard ad were fully nude (even though they don't show the nipples) and therefore this is clearly breaking the law.
Additionally, local newspapers are being investigated for violations of the Law on Medical Services by reporting the name of the clinic in their stories. Apparently it's illegal to disclose the names of medical facilities in non-medical advertising.

In summary, for mixing personal initiatives with a government-regulated business, the clinic will likely be closed or given new management and the nurses have been fired.
