Ohio Woman, 55, Boy, 12

(Dayton, Ohio) A 55-year-old local woman, Gloria J. Murphy, was arrested last Friday for allegedly engaging in sex with a 12-year-old boy. Dayton Police were alerted to the circumstance when the boy told an adult what had happened.

Murphy faces a charge of rape since the boy was under 13 years old. She was booked into custody with bond set at $25,000.

Murphy was indicted yesterday on counts of rape of a child under 13 and gross sexual imposition of a child under 13. She remains free on bond.
