Nevada Teacher Accused of Child Porn, Sex Assault

(Las Vegas, Nevada) A 46-year-old teacher at Garrett Middle School, Charles Richard Rogers, has been arrested and charged in a case that began as child pornography and progressed to child sexual assault.

During the initial investigation, Rogers was found to have a history as a foster parent and youth soccer coach. Interesting enough but then some of the child porn images were familiar.

Could it be that the state-licensed foster parent was sexually assaulting his charges and neighbor boys?

Well, duh! Naturally, the Department of Family Services has some 'splainin' to do since Rogers was licensed as a foster parent in 1994 and nobody seemed to notice the abuse.

Rogers was booked into custody at the Clark County Detention Center with bond set at $144,000.

Authorities continue to search for victims.
