Woman Arrested After Boys OD on Heroin

(Milton, Wisconsin) A 32-year-old former local resident, Lori C. Bone, was arrested Wednesday for allegedly possessing heroin and contributing to the heroin overdoses of three juveniles aged 14 and 15.

Bone allegedly fled to Michigan after the overdose episode and was apprehended by Officers of the Milton Police Department and investigators from the Rock County Special Investigations Unit on her return.

Bone faces charges of possession of heroin, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, failure to render aid and contributing to the truancy of a child.
Ms. Bone waived her constitutional rights and chose to speak with investigators about the overdose incident involving the three juveniles. She admitted to Officers that she continues to actively use heroin, and used heroin on the date of the overdose involving the three juveniles all of who are between the ages of 14 and 15.

She further admitted to having knowledge that the three juveniles who had overdosed on heroin were at her now former residence on Woodcrest Lane in Milton at approximately 9:30 p.m. on May 16th. Bone told investigators that she did not call the police, the parents of the juveniles involved nor did she seek medical treatment for the children, despite obtaining knowledge while they were at her residence that the three children may have ingested heroin and that one of the juveniles had been revived with the drug Narcan.

The call to Milton Police Department did not come through the 911 dispatch center until approximately 10:23 p.m. and was made by another person who had knowledge of the incident. Bone also told investigators that she fled the state immediately after the incident out of fear that she would face criminal charges as a result of the juveniles overdosing on heroin.
Bone was booked into custody at the Rock County Jail. A bail amount wasn't reported.
