(Newcastle, England) For the first time, human sperm has been created in a laboratory. It's being called a major scientific breakthrough.
Researchers at the Northeast England Stem Cell Institute, who made the breakthrough using cells from an embryo, said that with some minor changes, the sperm could theoretically fertilise an egg to create a child.Frankly, I don't know what the big deal is. I've got a whole sack full of scientific breakthroughs which I've been making for virtually my entire life and none have needed "minor changes" to fertilize an egg.
