Democrat HQ Vandalized in Denver

(Denver, Colorado) A 24-year-old local man, Maurice Schwenkler, has been arrested for allegedly vandalizing the Democrat Party headquarters by smashing picture windows displaying posters of President Obama.

Notably, Schwenker previously worked as a Democrat campaign canvasser.

Schwenkler allegedly tried to conceal his identity while committing the crime by wearing a shirt over his face, a hooded sweat shirt and latex gloves, according to police descriptions.

When a Denver police officer on patrol spotted two people smashing windows, the suspects fled on bicycles.

Schwenkler was arrested after a short foot pursuit, but the other suspect sped away, police Detective Vicki Ferrari said.

Democrat Party chairwoman Pat Waak blamed hate-stirring by "the other side" but retreated from her statement when she learned that Schwenker was one of her own. Republican State Representative David Balmer said Schwenker's actions appear to be "the type of Democratic tactic from the left fringe trying to make Republicans look mean-spirited." I would suggest that Schwenker's actions tend to indicate that average Democrats are losing their hopey-changey adoration of Barack Obama.

Schwenker has been charged with criminal mischief which could be a felony due to the amount of damage. (More here ....)
