Woman Flashes, Gets Arrested

(Gadsden, Alabama) A 43-year-old local woman, Faith Williams Hamby, was arrested last Wednesday for allegedly exposing her breasts to a fellow patron in a convenience store. It's unknown whether the alleged flashing was intentional or accidental.

Unfortunately, the fellow patron, Ron Jones, was a deputy sheriff who was not amused so he tried to arrest her.
The woman resisted, and a scuffle followed, said Etowah County sheriff's spokeswoman Natalie Barton.

When the tussle spilled over to the outside, Hamby's husband got involved, authorities said. Benjamin Hamby, 50, assaulted the deputy and then left the scene, along with his wife.

The deputy took down their license plate, and both were later arrested.

Benjamin Hamby is charged with one count of second-degree assault and resisting arrest. Faith Hamby is charged with second-degree assault, resisting arrest and public lewdness.
Mr. and Mrs. Hamby were booked into custody at the Etowah County Detention Center.
