(McMinnville, Oregon) Four men and one woman initially faced prosecution in the Craigslist child sex case and now one defendant has been sentenced. Alisa Nice, 31, pleaded guilty to one count each of second-degree sexual abuse and third-degree sodomy in the videotaped sex of a 14-year-old girl. Charges were reduced after Nice passed a polygraph indicating that she believed the victim was older than 18.
Judge John Collins sentenced her to five months of jail, five years of probation and lifetime registration as a sex offender. She’s also agreed to testify against her former co-defendants.Pending are the rape and sex abuse prosecutions of Darrin Daily, 44, considered the primary suspect in the case, along with David Garcia, 42, Patricio Moreno, 43, and Robert Dwain Thompson, 34.
