Nominee for SCOTUS

U.S. Solicitor General Elena Kagan is reported to be the choice of President Obama for Supreme Court Justice. Kagan is a life-long academic with no experience as a judge.

In at least one significant regard, Kagan is an activist. She allegedly either despises the military or views it as nothing more than a social justice toybox. As the Dean of Harvard Law School, Kagan saw to it that the ROTC was thrown off campus contrary to the Solomon Act.

Note that the Solomon Act allows denial of federal grants to schools who ban ROTC or deny recruiters access on campus.

Frankly, I'll never understand the liberal viewpoint on the issue of the military.
