Gingerbread Person

(Lancashire, England) Political correctness advocates successfully forced the Lancashire School Meals Service to change 'gingerbread man' to 'gingerbread person' on the menus of 400 primary schools.

Parents complained. Expressing outrage, an Avenging Gingerbread Man was created.

The Lancashire County Council is reportedly backing down. A spokesperson said the change was made to amuse rather than offend. Sure it was.

Frankly, if nobody had complained, I suspect that 'gingerbread tranny' would have ultimately shown up on the menu.
