NY Teacher Gets 90 Days for Rape - Updated

(Queens, New York) Special education teacher Christine Williams has been sentenced to 90 days in jail for statutory rape of a 15-year-old boy.

Williams must also register as a sex offender.

Her lawyer claimed she suffered from alcoholism and is a bit nutty so Supreme Court Justice Richard Buchter ordered Williams to enter a mental health program.

(Queens, New York) A 42-year-old female teacher at Thurgood Marshall Magnet School at P.S. 80., Christine Williams, pleaded guilty yesterday in Queens Supreme Court to raping a 15-year-old boy, her son's friend.
The pair engaged in sexual intercourse at least twice between January and February, 2010. The affair unraveled, however, when the boy reportedly gave cops videos of their activities….
Sentencing has been scheduled for July when Williams is expected to receive 90 days in jail and 10 years of probation. Also, Williams will surrender her teaching license and register as a sex offender.
