The Walt Disney Company has decided to withdraw its "SEAL Team 6" application for trademark "out of deference to the Navy."

Two days after a U.S. Navy special forces unit killed al-Qaeda leader, Osama bin Laden, the Walt Disney Company trademarked "SEAL Team 6."
Among other items, the trademark applies to clothing, toys, games and entertainment and education services.
Therefore, anyone desiring to use "SEAL Team 6" on merchandise or a service should anticipate sending Disney a check. Either that or expect a lawsuit.
