Wisconsin Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Waupaca, Wisconsin) A 38-year-old local woman, Dawn M. Carriveau, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy. She has been charged with four counts of sexually assaulting a child and three counts of attempted sexual assault.

The sexual episodes allegedly occurred in 2009 and 2010.

A Marion police officer met with a 15-year-old boy in December who said Carriveau touched him inappropriately and pressured him for sexual activity about three times weekly, the criminal complaint says.

The boy, now 16, said the contact wasn't welcome and Carriveau's behavior made him feel "scared and worried."

Carriveau faces considerable prison time if convicted.
