Texas Teacher Accused of Improper Relationship
[Previous 6/22/11 post]
(Fort Worth, Texas) A 37-year-old English teacher at Boswell High School, Heather Jackson, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in an improper relationship with a 16-year-old male student.

The boy's family alerted police, prompting a criminal investigation.
Jackson was placed on administrative leave last month after one student told school officials that Jackson was having improper communication with another student.

When questioned, the second student told school officials that Jackson had begun sending messages to him on Facebook and asking for other ways to reach him.

The boy told the officials that he eventually gave Jackson his cellphone number and that they began exchanging text messages that were initially innocuous but became more sexual.
Jackson was booked into custody at the city jail.
