Tranace & Richard Morris
(Cleveland, Ohio) Local couple Richard and Tranace Morris, 28 and 23 respectively, have been indicted on multiple charges stemming from offenses committed while harboring a 15-year-old female runaway.
Police said the girl escaped from an apartment in Cleveland Metropolitan Housing Authority's Riverside Park on Cleveland's west side.Richard and Tranace Morris have been booked into custody at the Cuyahoga County Jail.
"She ran out of the house, frantic, bleeding everywhere, she had just regained consciousness, saying she was kidnapped," Riverside resident, Donald Davis told Fox 8 News.
The girl later told police that she voluntarily moved into the apartment with 28-year-old Richard Morris and his 23-year-old wife, Tranace. She said at one point, they began to hold her against her will.
She admitted to engaging in consensual sex with the couple, but authorities said she was unwittingly infected with the HIV virus, allegedly by Richard Morris.
