Couple Accused in Child Molestation Case

(Pawtucket, Rhode Island) A local married couple, Crystal and Curtis Rogers, 29 and 37 respectively, have been accused of molesting multiple youths between the ages of 12 and 17. The pair face multiple charges of sex assault and child molestation.

Curtis Rogers is a youth football coach and judo instructor.

Capt. James Demers said Tuesday that eight victims have come forward so far, and he believes the number of victims will rise.

Crystal Rogers is believed to have acted in conjunction with her husband, Demers said.

"They were preying on innocent children," Demers said.

"[The victims] looked up to [Curtis Rogers], they had faith in him, and he violated their trust. And now the wife has done the same."

Curtis Rogers is being held without bail. Crystal Rogers was booked into custody with bail set at $25,000.
