(Lancaster, Pennsylvania) Shortly after pleading guilty last year, Anna Ackerman changed her mind and withdrew the pleading.
Scheduled for trial this week, Anne Ackerman arranged a last-minute plea deal.
Anna Ackerman pleaded no contest Wednesday to charges that she sexually assaulted a "severely intoxicated" boy at her home three years ago — and this time her plea is final. The proceedings ended with Ackerman being handcuffed and taken to prison.
A judge sentenced Ackerman, 45, to 4 to 10 years in state prison for performing sex acts on the 15-year-old boy during a party she hosted in Mount Joy. Numerous teenagers attended the party on June 16, 2009, according to court testimony.[…]
Ackerman wept and spoke softly while answering questions during the hearing. She declined to provide an explanation for her actions when asked by Lancaster County President Judge Joseph Madenspacher.

[Previous 7/13/11 post]
(Lancaster, Pennsylvania) A 44-year-old local woman, Anna Ackerman, pleaded guilty today to engaging in sex with a 15-year-old boy at a 2009 party she hosted.
Assistant District Attorney Susan Ellison and defense attorney Cory Miller agreed on a 5-to-10 year prison sentence in exchange for the plea.It appears that Ackerman wanted to avoid trial, scheduled for today, since video evidence had been found showing her mixing it up with the boy.
County President Judge Joseph C. Madenspacher accepted the plea and will formally sentence Ackerman within three months.
