(Guilderland, New York) A 55-year-old local woman, Carolyn Lorrain Wilson, has been accused of molesting an 11-year-old girl she was babysitting.
Wilson was arrested this week and charged with second-degree sexual abuse and endangering the welfare of a child. According to Police Lt. Dan McNally,
Wilson goes by the title of reverend and carries a card from a church, but is only a parishioner at the congregation. He said there is no evidence to indicate she used the title to lure children, but was baby-sitting the children she is accused of abusing.Wilson was booked into custody at the Albany County Jail with bail set at $5,000.
McNally said police were led to Wilson after the victim's parents contacted police following a two-week period of abuse.
