NORKS Jamming South Korea GPS

(Seoul, South Korea) The North Korean government has been jamming South Korean GPS signals and as a permanent solution is being sought, an interim fix of wrapping scores of GPS antennae with tin foil has helped. Imagine that.
Some antennae on top of buildings were moved down lower or behind buildings. Others were simply tilted to face the ground.

But experts say while these makeshift methods were able to avoid North Korean jamming signals, they may also have hindered normal GPS signals, cutting off phone calls or leading to errors in locating a user's position.
South Korea lacks the technology to block individual jamming signals.
