(Florence, Alabama) A 38-year-old woman, Dana Myhan Allen, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy.Allen has been charged with second-degree rape.
The youth is a student at Wilson High School. Lauderdale County Superintendent Bill Valentine says school officials conducted their own investigation several months ago when rumors of inappropriate behavior surfaced.Allen was booked into custody at the Lauderdale County Jail with bond set at $5,000.
Lauderdale County Chief Investigator Travis Clemmons says deputies were looking into the allegations for more than a week before Allen was arrested.
