Texas Teacher Gets Probation for Drugs - Updated

(Amarillo, Texas) District Judge John Board has sentenced former sixth-grade science teacher at Bowie Middle School, Patricia Jean Coone, to 10 years of probation for twice being caught selling drugs to an undercover officer.
Coone, 35, pleaded guilty Oct. 17 to two counts of delivery of a controlled substance, a second-degree felony, and received concurrent 10-year probation sentences for each count.

Coone will also pay $3,600 in fees, $140 in restitution and was ordered to finish rational behavior training by April 2013, according to the sentence from 181st District Judge John Board.
Coone's accomplice, Joshua Ranard Glover, pleaded guilty to multiple felony drug counts in August and was also sentenced to probation.

Texas Teacher Busted Again for Drugs - Updated

(Amarillo, Texas) This week, former sixth-grade teacher Patricia Jean Coone and her accomplice Joshua Ranard Glover were arrested on new drug trafficking charges.
The charges stem from further investigation into previous drug charges filed against Coone and Glover, APD spokesman Cpl. Jerry Neufeld said.
Coone had been free on bail.

(Amarillo, Texas) A 35-year-old sixth-grade science teacher at Bowie Middle School, Patricia Jean Coone, and an accomplice, Joshua Ranard Glover, 25, were arrested last week for alleged distribution of Ecstasy to an undercover officer.
Police charged Glover with two counts of delivery of a controlled substance more than four grams and less than 400 grams and one count of delivery of a controlled substance one gram.

Police charged Coone with one count of delivery of a controlled substance more than one gram and less than four grams.
Coone and Glover were booked into custody at the Potter County Detention Center.
