Authorizing Cyberattacks




(Washington, D.C.) Testifying before the Senate Armed Services Committee yesterday, U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Keith Alexander, the head of Cyber Command, said the President and the Secretary of Defense should approve computer attacks in foreign space.
“It really comes down to, so what are those reactions that make sense that we can do defensively, analogous to the missile shoot-down?” he told the Senate Armed Services Committee.
