New York Woman and Boy

(Monticello, New York) An 18-year-old local female, Christa Somers, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 14-year-old boy.

Somers faces charges of second-degree rape and endangering the welfare of a child.

Police said it happened at a home in the Village of Monticello in June and July of 2011 and again in February of this year when the boy was 15.[…]

Police also arrested April Hardenbergh, 29, and a 17-year-old male, both of Monticello, for endangering the welfare of a child after police said they provided marijuana to the same teen.

Somers was booked into custody at the Sullivan County Jail with bail set at $500.
