Oklahoma Teacher Gets Suspended Sentence - Update
(Tulsa, Oklahoma) English teacher Erin Kathleen Queen has pleaded guilty to a reduced charge of contributing to the delinquency of a minor for engaging in sex with a 17-year-old student. A charge of second-degree rape was dismissed.
As a result, Queen was sentenced in Tulsa County Court to a three-year suspended sentence and ordered to surrender her teaching privileges.
Queen, 30, was an English teacher at Charles Page High School when she and a male student were caught at a Tulsa motel after the boy's parents called police.So, Queen walks.
She was arrested in March of 2012 and resigned from the high school shortly afterward.

(Sand Springs, Oklahoma) A 27-year-old local teacher, Erin Kathleen Queen, was arrested earlier today for the alleged rape of a 17-year-old.
Portions of the arrest report were redacted, but the relationship between the two was not clear in the report.Information on detention and bond is unavailable.
She allegedly met the 17-year-old Friday at Candlewood Suites, at 10008 E. 73rd St. The arrest report states that she was arrested early Saturday morning.
Oklahoma statutes define the age range of what is considered to be rape as anyone under 16 or “where the victim is at least 16 years of age and is less than 18 years of age and is a student…and engages in sexual intercourse with a person who is 18 years of age or older and is an employee of the same school system.”
