Florida Teacher Accused of Inappropriate Acts

(Orlando, Florida) A 34-year-old teacher at Discovery Middle School, Gretchen Gonzalez, has been accused of acting inappropriately with one of her middle school students.

Gonzalez was suspended from her teaching position after a video surfaced.

The video shows a woman, which the ex-husband's attorney identified as Gretchen Gonzalez, picking up a student and then stopping at an auto parts store where they are seen holding hands, snuggling and kissing.

They eventually head to the Red Roof Inn on the Orange Blossom Trail, where the two checked into a room.

Michael Rathel, the lawyer of Gonzalez's ex-husband, said the two were still in the room when the private investigators left at about 3 a.m.

Gonzalez was asked to leave the school yesterday. The investigation continues.
