Missouri Woman Accused of Sex with Boy

(Dexter, Missouri) A 37-year-old local woman, Larissa Hurley, has been accused of engaging in sex with a 16-year-old boy.

Hurley faces a charge of second-degree statutory rape.

According to a probable-cause affidavit from Prosecuting Attorney Russ Oliver, the boy, shared information of the incident at school, stating he had had (sic) sex with Larissa Hurley, 37, in her backyard Tuesday morning before school.

When school officials became aware of the claim, they contacted authorities.[…]

Hurley reportedly told police the male subject has "led her to believe he was 17 years old." She was placed under arrest at 5:23 p.m. and was later transported to the County Jail in Bloomfield.

Hurley was booked into custody at the Stoddard County Jail under a $25,000 bond.
