(Moorhead, Minnesota)
In Moorhead, Minnesota, the St. Joseph's Catholic School has decided not to offer a new contract to one of their longest tenured teachers because of her stance on same sex marriage. It appears that Ms. Cameron had a somewhat blase attitude toward her job and career. Otherwise, she would have kept her opinion to herself.
St. Joseph's fifth grade teacher, Trish Cameron, has taught at the school for 12 years, but after the school became aware of her position on same sex marriage, the school's superintendent, Mike Foltz and principal, Tony Biebl, decided that it would be in the best interest of the school not to have Cameron return in the fall.
