Missouri Teacher Accused of Sex Assault

(Union, Missouri) A 37-year-old teacher formerly at Union Middle School, Traci A. Storie, has been accused of sexually assaulting a student under 14 years of age.

Storie faces two counts of statutory sodomy and one count of tampering with a witness.

Authorities said the alleged assault occurred earlier in 2012, after school hours and outside of the city limits.

In February, Storie was placed on paid leave immediately after allegations of sexual assault arose.

According to authorities, the victim was not one of Storie’s students.

Storie was booked into custody and released on $25,000 bond.
