Idaho Woman Gets Jail in Sex Case

(Canyon, Idaho) In January 2012, a 34-year-old local woman, Robin Hackney, was arrested for allegedly engaging in sex with a teenage boy at an unoccupied house.

Hackney was charged with felony lewd conduct with a child under the age of 16.

The owner suspected sexual activity was occurring at the property and set up surveillance inside and outside the home and provided photos, audio recordings and video recordings of the sex acts.

Hackney admitted bringing the 15-year-old to the house and having sexual contact with them a minimum of two times between December 18, 2011 and January 16, 2012.

As a result, Robin Hackney was sentenced late last month to eight years in prison but the sentence was suspended and she was given probation and ordered to jail for 120 days.

Hackney was also ordered to register as a sex offender for life.
