(Middletown, Connecticut) A 36-year-old local woman, Jennifer Wilcox, was arrested after crashing her vehicle while allegedly under the influence of hand sanitizer.
Police smelled alcohol on Wilcox, but she denied drinking. After failing field sobriety tests she was charged with driving under the influence.Wilcox was booked and released on $500 bond.
Wilcox later admitted to drinking half of a bottle of hand sanitizer, the newspaper reported.

It was reported in the news earlier this year that teens were drinking it to get high.
I would guess the homeless would too.
