'Choose Life' License Plates Ruled Unconstitutional

A federal judge ruled that North Carolina's new "Choose Life" license plates are unconstitutional because the state does not offer a pro-choice alternative.

"The State's offering a Choose Life license plate in the absence of a pro-choice alternative constitutes viewpoint discrimination in violation of the First Amendment," U.S. District Court Judge James Fox wrote in the ruling Friday.
Apparently, Judge Fox wants North Carolina to offer 'Choose Abortion' license plates as an alternative.

It is unconstitutional to encourage to choose Life? Life, the unalienable God given right, to protect which the Constitution was crafted and the Federal Government, including Judicial Branch, created?

Is this judge sane?

If the state offered a "pro-choice" option (or as the conservative spin doctors would say, a "Choose Abortion" option....even though being pro-choice is about much more than just supporting one's right to abortion....and in no way forces or even encourages people to choose abortion...only supporting their right to choose) there would be no issue.

However, since the pro-life movement is solely based on religious beliefs, the state offering only a "choose life" option clearly treads on the concept of the separation of church and state.

J questions the sanity of the judge. I think the judges ruling appropriate. Perhaps we should instead be questioning J's and other conservatives knowledge of our constitution, the rights it provides....and their attempts to deny us of them.

The state should just offer a "pro-choice" option, or better yet, just stay out of the fray all together and be done with it.

Before you become qualified to question me, periphrases you should learn some elementary biology and perhaps stop ASS-uming things you apparently know nothing about.

While there is a question about judge's sanity, there is no doubt about your illiteracy.

So there are qualifications one must meet before one is allowed to question the great and almighty Comrade J? Have you always been a legend in your own mind? Your arrogance never ceases to crack me up. But thanks for the comic relief.

By the way, I offered no opinions nor made any statements about biology. However, I suppose you are commenting on your perception...oh hell, let's just say it...your ASS-umption of how I define when life begins. Perhaps, once again, you have ASS-umed too much.

A wise man knows when he is speaking from ignorance. A wiser man still, knows to withhold commentary once he recognizes he is speaking from ignorance. Clearly, you are neither.

In any case, as you go about declaring from your self-perceived exalted position of superior knowledge and intellect what others do and don't know, perhaps instead you should put away your dictionary/thesaurus, and stop working so hard to impress people with your prose. It's pretty obvious you do so from the plethora of your disjointed commentaries I've read. I suggest you'd get more respect if you didn't try so hard to impress, because it's pretty obvious when you do so. Just some friendly advice....

PS - Your literacy needs some work as well. Perhaps you should re-read your post. Your opinion of my illiteracy is pretty laughable as you demonstrate your own.
