(Cocoa Beach, Florida) A 35-year-old special needs teacher at Mila Elementary School, Alison Workman, has been accused of abusing students, including a 4-year-old girl.
Workman faces two counts of felony child abuse.
Brevard County Sheriff's Office spokesman Todd Goodyear said an arrest warrant was the result of a nearly month-long investigation into Workman's classroom behavior. He said that two 4-year-old victims complained to other adults that Workman, "did things to them they didn't like."Workman was booked and released on $2,000 bond.
Goodyear said the kids had scratches and other markings but had a tough time describing everything, because they are cognitively delayed, special needs students.
