Air Pollution in China

(Beijing, China) Since local air quality readings regularly show pollutants at 20 times recommended limits, it's not surprising that someone decided to start selling fresh air.
Chen Guangbiao, an entrepreneur worth $740 million … has started selling cans of fresh air for people to crack open and suck in.

They go for 5 yuan each [about 80 cents U.S.] and, according to one report, they come with atmospheric flavours including “pristine Tibet, post-industrial Taiwan and revolutionary Yan'an.” Presumably the “pristine Tibet” can smells ever so slightly of gunpowder.
Heh.

While he might not (denied) have actually said it, P.T. Barnum did make a living off the notion that there is a sucker born a minute. Now, that was back when the world population was, what, a few billion, max? Now, they are born by the second. And, I see, someone is still capitalizing on the notion. :p
