Alabama Teacher Gets Prison in Sex Case - Update
(Mobile, Alabama) In accordance with a plea agreement, former math teacher at Mary G. Montgomery High School, Alicia Gray, 28, pleaded guilty to engaging in a sexual act or deviant sexual intercourse with a 14-year-old student.
Circuit Court Judge Michael Youngpeter sentenced Gray to serve six months in prison and five years of probation.Details on incarceration not reported.
As a condition of her probation, she won't be able to work with minors. She was also ordered to surrender her teaching certificate.

(Mobile, Alabama) A 28-year-old math teacher at Mary G. Montgomery High School, Alicia Gray, has been accused of engaging in sexual relations with a 14-year-old boy.
Gray surrendered to authorities to face charges of sexual contact with a student, sodomy and sexual abuse.
Gray has been placed on administrative leave pending the investigation.Gray was booked and released on bond. A court appearance is expected in early March.
It is unclear what evidence deputies have on the case, however, officials said it was enough to press charges.
