Texas Woman Calls 911 for Cigarettes




(Granbury, Texas) A 48-year-old allegedly drunk local woman, Linda White, called 911 and asked deputies to deliver some cigarettes. Deputies arrived and arrested White.

White was booked on a charge of abusing 911, a misdemeanor punishable by up to a $2,000 fine and 180 days in jail.

She was released on bond about six hours later, she said.

Deputies don't deliver, they pick up.
