(Laredo, Texas) A 36-year-old teacher at Cigarroa High School, Lisa Flores, has been accused of seriously injuring Police Officer Jose Reyes in an accident in October 2011.
Flores faces charges of aggravated assault causing bodily injury and aggravated assault with a motor vehicle.

Hmm... My question is, if that had been you or me struck by Flores, would she be in this kind of trouble? I don't think so.
No, I'm not on her side in this, or anybody's side. I don't have enough information. I just question the severity of the charges, questioning the legal system. Either one for all or none for all, not one for these, and little for those.
