(Summerville, South Carolina) A 49-year-old fourth-grade teacher at Summerville Elementary School, Terri Wooten, has been arrested for possession of and trafficking in drugs.Wooten and an alleged co-conspirator, David Eugene Cauthan, 39, face charges of trafficking methamphetamine, distribution near a school, possession of a schedule 4 narcotic and possession of LSD.
According to the Sheriff’s Office, during a search at the home, agents found the components to manufacture meth, 14 grams of a white powder that tested positive for meth, 2.3 grams of marijuana, 12 dosage units of LSD and 46 Xanax pills.Wooten and Cauthan were booked into custody at the Hill Finklea Detention Center in Moncks Corner, SC.
